As a Difference Maker & Grant Professional. Vanessa loves to work with Social Impact and For Profit organizations to help them grow through grants.

Over the past 25 years Vanessa has had a rewarding career in both the for impact and for profit sectors and has held positions in special events, fundraising, communications, marketing and B2B sales. She is also on the Board and member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Co-Chair of the Maritime Fundraising Conference, a member of the Grant Professionals Association. and Founding Member of their first Canadian Chapter

When not wearing her consulting hat, Vanessa is a passionate rock and ice climber as well as President of Climb Nova Scotia. Her life motto is by Marie Forleo “Everything is Figureoutable”. She promises not to take you rock climbing yet guarantees together you will climb and summit a few peaks.
